Broccoli Rice Casserole



3 cups fresh steamed broccoli (not frozen)
3 cups cooked Jasmine rice (not instant)
1 stick butter (not margarine)
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups mild cheddar cheese (shredded)

Directions:
Cook Jasmine rice.
Steam broccoli.
Melt 1 stick of butter
Mix in onion, soups, cheese
Stir until blended
Add cooked rice
Stir
Add steamed broccoli
Stir gently
Place mixture into a casserole dish
Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes
